Partner Profile Juniata College uses green power to meet a significant portion of its campus electricity needs. The College is purchasing renewable energy certificates (RECs) as well as producing some of its own power through a 5 kW solar array that we installed in 2008. Juniata made the commitment to green power as part of an overall strategy to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. Green power has benefited the College as one piece of an overall strategy to change its culture and drive sustainability on campus.
