NARRATIVE
My current research activities focus on understanding young children’s exposures (both aggregate and cumulative) to chemicals (pesticides, phthalates, brominated flame retardants, perfluorinated chemicals) found in their everyday environments (home, day care, school) by collecting multimedia measurements (air, dust, soil, water, food, urine) and activity pattern information in observational exposure measurement studies. My future research activities will continue to focus on understanding young children’s exposures to chemicals in their everyday environments by identifying the activities and routes of exposure most important for determining children’s exposures to everyday chemicals.
