Christopher J. Daggett will be the new Region 2 Administrator, based in New York City. He has been cabinet secretary and deputy chief of staff for Governor Kean of New Jersey, and was active in state environmental concerns and the cleaning up of hazardous waste sites. Region 2 includes New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Daggett will assume his duties in September.
