Functional Statement

The Associate Administrator for Public Affairs reports to the Administrator and is the principal advisor to the Administrator and the Agency's primary policy official on all Agency communications, environmental education, and media relations activities. The Associate Administrator is the Agency's principal spokesperson with the news media and the Agency's principal liaison with the White House on all Agency communication issues.
