The EPA’s Office of Homeland Security (OHS) is located in the Office of the Administrator and serves as the Agency’s central liaison for homeland security matters. OHS works closely with the White House Homeland Security Council, Department of Homeland Security, and other federal agencies as it coordinates overall EPA homeland security strategy.
Our mission is to lead and coordinate homeland security activities and policy development across all EPA program areas, while ensuring consistent direction and facilitating effective communication of homeland security efforts both within and outside the Agency.
