FINAL PROGRAM
Workshop Goal:
The HPV Challenge Program is a national voluntary program to perform basic health and environmental hazard screening tests on high production volume chemicals and to make test results publicly accessible. The goal of this workshop is to provide stakeholders and potential participants with an opportunity to present their individual views concerning a number of technical issues pertaining to the Challenge. The views presented at the workshop will guide the further evolution of the program.
Workshop format:
The Workshop is divided up into 4 main topics, each to be addressed in sequence plenary-style over two days. Each topic will begin with expert presentations, followed by a public comment session to allow preregistered commenters to make statements, and finishing up with a moderated discussion of EPA and audience questions to allow additional input and participation. In addition, an optional break-out session will be held Wednesday evening to allow interested participants to ask EPA additional questions. It will be followed by an optional session on consortium formation.
Background materials:
Tuesday evening, December 15, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Optional Pre-workshop session: "SIDS 101" primer. This session will provide an orientation and overview for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Screening Information Data Set (SIDS) program.Place: Meeting Room #3, Renaissance Hotel
