9th Annual IAQ TfS National Symposium
Baldwin Union Free School District, Baldwin, NY receives the National Model of Sustained Excellence Award which is presented to previous National Excellence Award winners who have sustained the good work. Baldwin was one of the first school districts to implement IAQ TfS Guidance and won the Excellence award in 2000. Accompanying the Baldwin staff is Representative Carolyn McCarthy (D, NY-4) who is holding the award.
At the IAQ TfS National Symposium, you will learn strategies and tactics that can help in your efforts to reduce absenteeism, increase student and staff performance, enhance community relations, and improve student and staff health. Topics covered include:
- Key drivers that lead to successful and sustainable IAQ management programs;
- New information on creating and maintaining green, high performing schools, such as LEED for Schools and the Collaborative for High Performance Schools; and
- In-depth technical information and resources on addressing IAQ issues including mold, radon, asthma, green cleaning products, and more.
