IAQ Tools for Schools
For over 11 years, the IAQ Tools for Schools National Symposium was an instrumental force in mobilizing school districts across the country to share experiences and knowledge about best practices in school IAQ management. The Symposium served as a catalyst to bring together school officials, architects, school nurses, teachers, facility managers, parents, and other leaders to work toward improving school IAQ.
As a result, there are a wealth of resources, tools and guidance to help districts of all sizes successfully and sustainability create, manage and sustain healthy practices in schools. The accumulated learning represented here reflects the most popular resources from past Symposia. Learn from a network of IAQ leaders, champions and experts

Attending the Symposium gave us the tools we needed to cultivate a sense of program ownership among all our building occupants. This ability to get all hands on deck for healthy IAQ has been essential not only for our program success, but for our sustainability as well.
— Dave Hill, Executive Director, Facilities and Operations, Blue Valley School District, Kansas
As an educator interested in student health, the IAQ Tools for Schools National Symposium opened my eyes to a new way of thinking about the effects of IAQ on student performance. I learned how other schools incorporated environmental assessment and health education into lesson plans, which not only encouraged me to build a strong IAQ management program, but to also get the support of teachers, staff and students.
