University of North Carolina - Asheville
The University of North Carolina-Asheville (UNCA)
is planning to construct a new sustainable, energy efficient science
laboratory building on campus. UNCA plans to obtain a minimum LEED®
silver rating, integrate daylighting with appropriate automatic
controls in all spaces, and use high-performance fume hoods.
The University of North Carolina Asheville is North Carolina's
only designated public liberal arts university. Through this liberal
arts education, UNCA aims to develop a broad perspective in students,
and challenge them to critically and creatively, communicate effectively,
