Girl Scouts-Five Star Council:
Project Description: Linking Girls to the Land: Over 700 girls and adults participated in environmental and outdoor programs throughout the year including events, workshops, camps and outings. The goals were to foster personal responsibility, awareness, understanding and appreciation of nature and the environment through hands-on educational programs. Programs were tied to evironmental Girl Scout badges, patches, interest projects and awards. The council also created their own Wildcat Bluff Nature Center patch program
