- Altamont provides engineering, hydrogeology, remediation, and other specialized services for municipal and industrial landfills. Their experience base includes older, closed facilities, as well as active municipal, construction and demolition debris, industrial, and Subtitle D landfills. Altamont currently monitors groundwater, surface water, and/or LFG at 27 privately and publicly owned landfills and monitors and maintains 10 landfill cap systems. Their understanding of the business aspects of solid waste management, along with their technical expertise, allows them to reduce their clients' costs related to the management of solid waste. Altamont's services include: compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, LFG sampling, LFG management, LFG energy, leachate management, post-closure monitoring, post-closure O&M, coal combustion by-products, and beneficial re-use of landfills.
