- The Coachella/Indio Waste Transfer Station Authority operates a waste transfer station that is located next to a Riverside County-owned landfill. The Coachella Sanitary Landfill may have the potential for an LFG energy project. The Authority would like to explore the potential further by determining if an LFG energy project is economically feasible.
