- Georgetown County has not yet developed an LFGE project. In September 1999, a feasibility analysis was performed for a greenhouse/composting facility using LFG, but the county did not pursue the greenhouse project. The county has been investigating other LFGE options; however, due to the landfill's relatively small size, an energy project has not been developed. In 2005, LFGE operations have been pursued again, but no committment has been made at this time.
