- Description
- SPSA has partnered with ZAPCO Energy Tactics, Inc. since 1991 and is under a 20-yr. renewable contract. Two landfill gas-to-energy projects exist at this site. One is the the generation of electricity that is routed to VA Power and the other is pipeline transmission of gas to CIBA Specialty Chemicals for use as supplemental boiler fuel. This is a 3.2 MW facility.
