Water Quality & Aquatic Ecosystems
Aquatic Ecosystems -- Regional Workshops/Bioassessment Programs: Pilot Studies Results
The EPA's Global adaptation staff held four regional workshops to present the results of our pilot studies to state biologists and EPA Regional scientists. We are providing these materials for the participants and anyone else who might find them of interest. The workshops themselves focused on:- Results from pilot study analyses using state biomonitoring data on benthic macroinvertebrates in rivers and streams;
- Other related studies on climate change effects on aquatic ecosystems underway in each region;
- Plans for next steps; and
- Gaps in our knowledge and approaches to fill them.
Agendas and presentations are available for each workshop.
