Title: Standalone "Green" Community-Center Buildings: Hydrogen Generation/Storage/Delivery System for when Primary Energy Storage is at Capacity
Elizabethtown College students will design, construct, and monitor a ‘smart’ hydrogen-fuel storage system. The project aims to overcome the main challenge associated with stand-alone, renewably-powered buildings, which is the creation of a highly efficient and long-lived energy storage system. The system will act as backup energy storage on a stand-alone solar or wind-powered building.
