Title: Lighting for Reading: Designing an LED Luminaire for Homes and Offices
Oklahoma State University students are designing LED (light emitting diodes) lighting for home and office use and assessing its impact on potential consumers and the retailers that service them. The approach will provide information on the type of device used to produce light, the amount of light produced, the lighting needs of space, the amount of time the lights are on, and the behavioral habits of people.
