Title: Development of Community Power from Sustainable Small Hydro Power Systems A Capacity Building Project in Bangang, Cameroon

A team of students from Purdue University will design and implement a hydropower system for Bangang. The current systems are not fully operational due to faulty designs from lack of technical expertise. The P3 team will write a manual on “How to Build a Community Hydropower Plant.” The plant will provide power for drinking water systems, homes, health care facilities, and other entities required to upgrade rural communities.
