Title: Microbial Desalination Fuel Cell as a Sustainable Technology for Renewable Water and Power
University of California-Irvine students are designing a microbial desalination fuel cell (MDFC) as a pretreatment at the seawater desalination plant that will provide a sustainable supply of safe drinking water at minimal energy cost.
