The EPA's Speakers Bureau in Research Triangle Park (EPA-RTP) was created to share the vast knowledge of our employees with the Triangle communities.

The Speakers Bureau is a database that organizations and institutions can search to find and to request speakers. This database contains profiles of EPA-RTP employees who are willing to speak on a wide variety of environmental science and related topics.

Overview of How the EPA-RTP Speakers Bureau Works

  1. Search by Topic or Name
  2. Select a Speaker (Please limit requests to no more than two speakers per event. If you have a large event and would like to request multiple speakers from EPA, please Contact the Speakers Bureau for assistance.)
  3. Fill out and submit a Speaker Request form. The form is available on each speaker's page.
  4. Speaker will contact you within one week via e-mail
  5. Set Date/Time/Location directly with speaker.
  6. Confirm directly with the speaker one week prior to event

Note: Please submit requests at least 4 weeks in advance. There is no charge for a speaker. Most speakers limit travel to ~50 miles of the Research Triangle Park (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) area. All travel is up to the discretion of the speaker and their supervisor. All speakers are volunteers and participate in the Speakers Bureau in addition to their regular jobs. We will try our best to accommodate all requests.

Our speakers make every effort to respond to requests within 1 week. If you have not received a response to your request within a week, please Contact the Speakers Bureau to let us know, and we will follow up directly with the requested speaker.

If you didn't find what you were looking for or if you have a special request or question, Contact the Speakers Bureau.
