Susceptible Subpopulations: Lifestage Research
The goal of NERL's susceptible subpopulation (life stage) research is to provide a fundamental understanding of the many exposure factors that can lead to increased risk to vulnerable or susceptible populations. More specifically, NERL's susceptible subpopulations (lifestage) exposure research is designed to:
- Improve understanding of differences in exposure to environmental pollutants as a result of lifestage and the key factors influencing these exposures.
- Determine which methods and models are most appropriate for assessing short-term and lifetime exposures to environmental pollutants.
- Determine what methods can be used to characterize mold species and relate these findings to indoor air quality?
