Michael D. Moeykens

My research has been directed at biological assessment of streams, with emphasis on assessing the impact that exposure to pesticides and other contaminants have on the aquatic biota. From 2002 through 2006, my work focused on assessing aquatic macroinvertebrate use as indicators of pesticides in streams. From 2007 to current my research has been directed at improving the state of knowledge related to changes in aquatic biodiversity related to resource extraction activities and providing information for more informed regulatory decisions.
