Research Interests:
- Remote Sensing research and development and technical support of environmental media statutes such as the CERCLA, RCRA, and the CWA.
- Research into the spectral detection of Fugitive Contaminants in the Environment, especially as displayed in vegetation reflectance characteristics.
- Hyper- and Ultra Spectral Remote Sensing Research.
- Ethical and Legal Issues relating to Remote Sensing technology.
- Fusion of Radar and Shortwave spectral bands for increased remote sensing classification potential.
- Utilization of National Technical Means data of environmental purposes.
Current Projects:
- Technical Support to Regions 1, 2 and 3
- Alternate Project Officer for the EPIC Archive contract. This project involves reorganizing the entire archive and updating it into the digital age. Analog data is being converted into digital form and metadata compiled, comprehensive, searchable databases are being populated, detailed inventories and an item tracking system are being developed.
