Stream Network
The Upper White River study area (21,848 km²) has a total of 20,688 km of streams, which are assessed using landscape characteristics among four 8-digit Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) regions and 244 smaller subwatersheds of varying sizes, in an effort to determine the vulnerability of water-quality throughout the area.
