TAD Branch Chief Highlighted in Recent NCSU Perspectives Issue

Vickie Wilson, NHEERL Toxicity Assessment Division (TAD) Reproductive Toxicology Branch Chief, was among those featured in the winter 2012 issue of Perspectives, an N.C. State University (NCSU) College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) publication. Although the article, entitled “A Two-Way Street” (http://www.cals.ncsu.edu/agcomm/news-center/perspectives-issues/winter-2012 [on page 6]), tells something of Dr. Wilson’s research as a graduate student at NCSU and throughout her career at EPA, its focus is on the mutually beneficial relationships between the CALS life sciences programs and EPA. This is a subject Dr. Wilson knows well, especially as she began her career at EPA through a “cooperative training agreement that gives scientists-in-training more laboratory experience while providing the EPA with more research muscle.”
