Solicitations for Business and Research Opportunities
The following is an example of the Standard Format to be used for Grants competition solicitations. A list of OMB requirements may be found on the link entitled "GCA Synoposis of OMB's Uniform Solicitation Format for Federal Assistance Agreements." The OMB uniform format requires that each announcement contain certain specified information in an OVERVIEW section which must precede the FULL TEXT ANNOUNCEMENT.
The OVERVIEW section must provide all information deemed necessary for a reader to decide whether or not the reader is interested in applying for the federal finanacial assistance.
The FULL TEXT ANNOUNCEMENT is divided into eight separately captioned sections, each of which specifies a mixture of required and optional information to be included in that section (see link to GCA Synoposis of OMB's Uniform Solicitation Format for Federal Assistance Agreements).
