Roxanne Adeuya, Hydrologist
Dr. Adeuya is a research hydrologist in GWERD's Ecosystem and Subsurface Protection Branch. She earned a doctorate from Purdue University, with a specialization in Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering. Prior to coming to EPA, she worked both as a civil engineering and a district conservationist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resource and Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS), where she managed a USDA-NRCS field office; developed and managed conservation contracts; planned, designed, and evaluated engineering practices; and provided technical assistance to producers, and partnering federal and state agencies.
Her research interests include the effects of land use changes and management on aquatic stressors, hydrology at various spatial and temporal scales, assessing the effectiveness of best management practices for reducing nonpoint source pollution, and integration of observed data and geographic information systems applications to evaluate and improve hydrologic model simulations.
