Please direct any initial questions or comments on applying for process equivalency to the appropriate permitting authority. Their information can be found on the State & Regional Biosolids Coordinator Locator web page. It is the permitting authority’s prerogative as to if or when dialogue between the Pathogen Equivalency Committee and potential applicants will begin.

However, to receive basic information and guidance, or if you are having difficulty determining the appropriate permitting authority you may email the Pathogen Equivalency Committee. Please include your full name, organization (if applicable), your email address and phone number. If you are referring to a specific page within EPA's web site, please include a URL or title for the site. (Note: your phone number and e-mail address will not be published or released.
