Costs of Best Management Practices and Associated Land for Urban Storm Water Control (EPA/600/JA-03/261) September 2003

The purpose of this paper is to present information on the cost of urban storm water pollution control, including collection and treatment systems. Information from prior cost studies of control technologies and cost-estimating models used in these studies was assembled, reviewed, and evaluated. The assembly phase involved identifying, screening, and consolidating publications associated with capital costs of storm water conveyance systems and control technologies. The resulting data were evaluated to develop a critical review of costs for urban storm water control technologies, including identification of cost information gaps and research needs.
