 Abstract

  Source Sampling Fine Particulate Matter, Institutional Oil-Fired Boiler (EPA/600/R-07/005) February 2007

This research focuses on updating and improving source emission rates and profiles for particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than 2.5 micrometers. The intention is to improve the quality of data used for dispersion and receptor modeling and to provide quality emissions data for risk management strategies.

Section 2 of this report provides the conclusions derived from the study results. Section 3 describes the process operation and the test site. Section 4 outlines the experimental procedures used in the research. Section 5 presents and discusses the study results. Section 6 presents the quality control and quality assurance procedures used in the research to ensure generation of high-quality data. Section 7 presents the references cited in this report.
