Abstract

This guidance document helps communities, decision makers, states and municipalities, academia, and the private sector to address issues related to the redevelopment of brownfield sites. The document helps users to understand the problems associated with redevelopment of these sites, the sources of information that may help to assess the sites, and the regulatory groups that should be involved in the process. The document has appendices of relevant terms, references, and applicable technologies.
