EPA Inellectual Property to Marketplace

The technology collaboration and transfer staff facilitates, promotes, and helps protect and transfer EPA Intellectual Property (IP) into the marketplace by:

  • Serving as a point of contact for researchers to collaboratively develop and commercialize new technologies and techniques to enhance our ability to meet our mission to protect human health and the environment
  • Supporting and improving U.S. competitive positions; helping to remove barriers to collaboration; and encouraging cooperative research and development with commercialization as the goal
  • Assisting external parties and EPA scientists and engineers with non-disclosure agreements
  • Assisting in initiating the report of invention and patent process
  • Serving as a conduit to EPA's Federal Technology Transfer Act program
  • Maintaining a list of EPA Cincinnati Water Patents (PDF) (2 pp, 184 KB)
