Maintenance of Dell Servers

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Environmental Information (OEI) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Dell for extended services for the maintenance of 89 U.S. EPA servers. These servers are Dell Power Edges and the service is to provide maintenance for the following model types and quantities for each: Power Edge 2950 (Qty: 4), Power Edge R900 (Qty: 3), Power Edge Vault MD 112 (Qty: 3), and the Power Edge R710 (Qty: 79). The period of performance for these services is from 10/01/11 - 09/30/12. The service contract type for these servers are silver and gold, which requires four hour response time seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Also, the extended services for these servers must include End User ProSupport Mission Critical support services.

If there are any potential sources that believe that they can provide these maintenance services as an authorized Dell service provider shall contact Contracting Officer, Marisol Ventura via email at Ventura.Marisol@epa.gov. Please note that no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Responses shall be in the form of an email accompanied with a verification statement of the extended maintenance services to be provided and authorization by the manufacturer to be a reseller. All potential sources must respond to this notice on or before noon of Monday, September 12, 2011.
