The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Air Programs (OAP), Clean Air Markets Division (CAMD) anticipates awarding multiple award cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts with one-year base period and four one-year option periods in support of CAMD's environmental programs. This procurement will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15--Contracting by Negotiation. EPA envisions that up to two contracts will be awarded to small businesses and up to two contracts will be awarded to large businesses. Contractors will not be required to submit proposals covering all task areas under this solicitation. The formal solicitation and other related information will be posted on this website on or about March 13, 2008.

The total labor hours estimated for this effort is approximately 375,000 hours. The solicitation is subject to full and open competition after exclusion of sources (power generation companies and point source emitters of SO2, NOx, Hg and CO2). All responsible offerors may submit a proposal. Copies of the solicitation will be available at this website. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. A Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice was previously posted on July 24, 2007 under PR-HQ-07-12709 on EPA's website and FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested parties to regularly monitor EPA's website for updates to this procurement. Telephone inquiries will not be taken.
