EPA's Clean Air Markets Division (CAMD) is responsible for collecting and reporting on stationary source emissions under the Acid Rain Program, NOx Budget Program, Clean Air Interstate Rule and the Clean Air Mercury Rule. CAMD also oversees the Clean Air Status and Trends Network (CASTNET) to monitor ambient air concentration and deposition of pollutants and to determine the effectiveness of nationwide emission reduction programs.

To support these programs the division maintains two Sun Solaris servers running Oracle 10g database systems, ArcSDE, Apache and other applications. The purpose of this contract is to provide Solaris, Oracle database and Veritas NetBackup administration, configuration and optimization support for two CAMD servers. The location of the work is in Washington , DC . Most tasks will have to be performed in time windows outside normal business hours. Contractor personnel may be required to pass a background investigation.
