The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency gives notice of its intent to solicit, negotiate and issue a Purchase Order (credit card will not be provided) for catering and educational services in the Washington, D.C. metro area, under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The chosen contractor must provide tasting samples of different ethnic cuisines as well as educational information about those cuisines for an estimated 200 attendees in accordance with the Statement of Work listed below. Responses to this notice must be submitted via email no later than September 9, 2009 at 10:00AM EST to the Contract Specialist, Sini Jacob at jacob.sini@epa.gov.
Please include your company's name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, e-mail address, facsimile number, and firm fixed price quote. Indicate whether you are a small business, large business, 8(a), woman owned, minority owned, and/or veteran owned business. The resulting award will be based proposed menu items, cost, and technical capability with regard to educating attendees. Telephone quotes will not be accepted. All offerors must have a valid DUNS number and be registered in CCR (Central Contractors Registration), in accordance with FAR 4.11, to be considered for award.
