THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT, NOT AN RFQ. NAICS: 813920 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), Office of Air and Radiation (OAR), Climate Protection Partnerships Division (CPPD) intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) of Washington, D.C. The purpose of this acquisition is to support the AIA’s Committee on the Environment (COTE) Annual Top 10 Green Buildings Event. This event addresses significant environmental challenges with designs that integrate architecture, technology, and natural systems. The AIA Top Ten Event draws the leading group of architecture professionals associated with sustainable design and energy and is an appropriate event for EPA to support. EPA’s participation in the Event will help increase architects’ participation and awareness of integrated energy design and ENERGY STAR tools that can help architects create building designs with enhanced energy performance.
NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. No contract will be awarded on the basis of orders received in response to this notice. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA’s requirements as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
