The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Criminal Investigations Division (CID) intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the Friends of Post Office Square Parking Garage. The estimated value of this procurement is approximately $21,360.00 total or $1,780.00 per month. The period of performance for this requirement is January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013. The purpose of this purchase order is to obtain four (4) reserved, underground, secure parking spaces with twenty-four (24) hour access for Government-owned vehicles in support of the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Boston Office located at 90 Devonshire Street, Boston, MA. The Friends of Post Office Square parking Garage is the only vendor that can provide secured underground parking in that location. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 812930.
NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA’s requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, which if received within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this announcement will be evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
