The U.S. Environment Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) intends to purchase the renewal of the Earth and Planetary Sciences On-line backfiles Journal from ELSEVIER. Currently, ELSEVIER is the sole provider for this on-line source and holds publishing rights to the journal.
This Earth and Planetary Sciences renewal holds approximately 90 titles and will provide Agency users with desktop access to backfiles of Science Direct Journals. Users will have full access to search, browse, and view all of the licensed products for Science Direct. The period of performance for this service will be October 15, 2012 to October 14, 2013. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 511120. The estimated value of this procurement is $54,674.10.
Under FAR Part 13.105 synopsis and posting requirements, this is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing to Venus Weaver via the email address below. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Responses to the notice must be submitted within ten (10) calendar days of the electronic posting. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that a vendor other than ELSEVIER, Inc. is capable of providing the same access.
