The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Air and Radiation (OAR), Office of Atmospheric Program (OAP), Climate Protection Partnership Division (CPPD), ENERGY Supply and Industry Branch (ESIB) intends to award a sole source fixed-price order under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) for Support and facilitation of the 2012 Renewable Energy Markets Conference (REMC). The conference comprehensively covers the voluntary green power markets and will include stakeholders from the renewable energy industry and policy makers. The conference offers such representatives the form to communicate and strategizes about fostering the development of products, policies, and marketing messages that will be used to build the demand for renewable energy marketplace.

NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE.
It has been determined that CRS is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government’s requirement, as they are a pioneer in voluntary green power market development, due to their consumer protection standards and policies supporting renewable energy development in the United States. As such this conference is the only one of it’s kind dedicated to serving the voluntary renewable green power market and meets the ESIB’s program objectives and critical needs requirements conference which addresses the need for the REMC.

Under FAR Part 13.106-1, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, this is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers. Responses to the notice must be submitted by August 5, 2012.
