Due to changes to the Government’s requirement, solicitation SOL-DC-13-00177 - HQ PACS Security System Installation Project – EPA’s Region 9 San Francisco,CA, is hereby cancelled.  We are preparing a revised SOW.  We apologize for any convenience we may have caused. We anticipate a new solicitation being issued in the very near future.

Security System Installation Project – EPA’s Region 9 Headquarters, San Francisco, CA

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.106 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The title for this request for quotation, "Security System Installation Project - EPA's San Francisco, CA" shall be referenced on any quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Administration and Resources Management (OARM), Office of Administration, Security Management Division (SMD) is seeking support to upgrade the legacy security systems for the Physical Access Control System (PACS), Closed-Circuit TV (CCTV), and the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) simultaneously during the phased construction in the EPA's facility in San Francisco, CA.

Any firm believing itself to be capable of meeting EPA's requirement, as stated within the RFQ & Instructions and the Statement of Work, may submit a quote, which, if received by the response date and time of this announcement shall be considered.

Prospective sources are reminded that an award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in accordance with FAR 4.11.
