Automated External Defibrillation Program

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.106 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  The title for this request for quotation, “Automated External Defibrillation Program” shall be referenced on any quotation.  The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68. 

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Safety Health and Environmental Management Division (SHEMD) is seeking contractor support to provide an Automated External Defibrillation program including the lease of 110 AED devices, training for use of the devices and related equipment, and maintenance for those AED devices for its Washington, DC headquarters buildings. 

Any firm believing itself to be capable of meeting EPA’s requirement, as stated within the Synopsis Solicitation and the Statement of Work, may submit a quote, which, if received by the response date of this announcement shall be considered. 

This requirement is being conducted as a total small business set-aside.

Prospective sources are reminded that an award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in accordance with FAR 4.11.
