The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Air and Radiation (OAR), Office of Atmospheric Programs (OAP), Climate Protection Partnerships Division (CPPD), ENERGY STAR Commercial and Industrial Buildings branch intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) for support and facilitation of the World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC).
The AEE Conference will lead to greater market awareness of commercial and industrial energy efficiency products and services available in the U.S. , which increases the potential for a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions via more energy efficient buildings. This in turn promotes the CPPD's goal of reducing U.S. domestic emissions of greenhouse gases. ENERGY STAR for Commercial and Industrial Buildings will be highlighted during the conference, thereby raising awareness among energy engineering practitioners that sound and practical guidelines for energy management exist for creating energy efficient buildings. This year's conference will have an emphasis on environmentally friendly, green energy related products and services.
In addition to conference support and facilitation, AEE will provide EPA with 10x10 booth space in the exhibit area, ten full-conference registrations and 100 reduced-rate full conference registrations. In addition, EPA will receive name & logo placement in all print and electronic promotional materials for the conference.
NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE .
