Posted Date : August 18, 2010

Procurement Office : U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Headquarters Procurement Operations Division, (3803R)

Response Date: August 20, 2010, 12:00 PM EDT

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1), intends to issue a sole source purchase order to American University, 4400 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC, 20016. As part of its Washington Internships for Native Students program, the vendor shall provide one (1) intern to support the American Indian Environmental Office at EPA in working with tribes and tribal governments to establish more effective practices for consultation with EPA on a government-to-government basis. EPA believes there is only one source capable of meeting this requirement due to the unique nature of the program in providing students of sovereign American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian nations. This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and no solicitation is available. Nonetheless, any responsible source that believes it is capable of meeting these requirements may submit a response in writing, which, if received no later than August 20, 2010, at 12 PM EST, will be considered. Any questions should be directed to Bradley Austin via electronic mail at austin.bradley@epa.gov.
