Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to the Society for Risk Analysis/CLF Ventures

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Research and Development (ORD), The National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the Society for Risk Analysis an affiliate of CLF Ventures under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). The purpose of this acquisition is to produce, publish and distribute a whitepaper to the Workshop: “NanoRisk Analysis: Advance the Science for Nanoscale Material Risk Management”. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 813312. The Society for Fisk Analysis/CLF Ventures is a unique source for the report since they are organizing and conducting workshop in partnership with other NanoTechnology experts . NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein and attached Statement of Work (SOW) may submit a response, which if received within 5 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
