U.S. Environmental Protection Agency National Enforcement Investigations Center (NEIC) intends to award a sole source fixed priced purchase order under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the Dionex Corporation for a Premier Care Service agreement service contract for Dionex Corporation . Dionex Corporaton is the original equipment manufacturer of the ICS 3000 & MSQ+. Their parts and software are proprietary and no other parts and software will be compatible with the system in existence at NEIC. Dionex Corporaton is the only vendor which has the combination of knowledge of the system, spare parts supplies, and a local service presence needed to provide the required parts and service for the Premier Care Agreement. Installation, repair, or certification performed by third party service providers will void existing or implied warranties. The intended order is in the amount of $19,946.84. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA’s requirement as stated herein, may submit its capability, which if received within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this announcement may be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete the purchase order based upon the responses regarding this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
