This is a Simplified Acquisition for a $10,000.00 Sponsorship from the Office of Civil Rights, to the Perspectives on Employment of Persons with Disabilities Conference, December 8, 2010 to December 10, 2010, convening at the Hyatt Regency, Bethesda MD.
The sponsorship will help defray the cost of audio-visual equipment during the conference. The equipment used by the presenters in this conference, allows government participants to learn about the latest information on leading personnel policies and practices relating to disability employment, including developments in technology and legal updates.
The Conference will provide detailed information on developing Federal Agency plans to support the requirements described in the July 26, 2010 Executive Order, 13548, increasing Federal Employment of individuals with disabilities.
Under the simplified acquisition procedures for other than full and open competitions authorized by FAR part 6.303-2, is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers.
