The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Headquarters Procurement Operations Division (HPOD) is seeking offers for the following requirement. As a The Mathworks, Inc. authorized reseller, your company is invited to send a quote in response to the EPA's posting of a RFQ on Fed Biz Opps. See Fed Biz Opps Solicitation #PRODMIR-8A9LQ6, for the EPA's requirement for Mathworks Software. The list of requirement line items is attached.
The purchase order will be awarded under FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a Brand Name requirement. Basis for justification is FAR 8.405-6(a)(2) "The item is peculiar to one manufacturer. A brand name item, whether available on one or more schedule contracts, is an item peculiar to one manufacturer."
