This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Air & Radiation Environmental Laboratory (NAREL) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order to the selected contractor for radioactive source counting supplies. Any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, which if received by the response date of this announcement will be considered for award. Delivery will be within three months of award of delivery order. All quotes received in response to this posting will be evaluated based on the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.204-2, FAR 52.204-9, FAR 52.213-2, FAR 52.216-24, FAR 52.222-3, FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52.222-26, FAR 52.222-36, FAR 52.232-23, FAR 52.233-1, FAR 52.249-1 and FAR 52.249-8.
