The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to award a sole source purchase order to BoxTone for current provide the service and hardware support. The continuation of the subscription and service for the Officer of Environmental Information is for the continuity of operations. The system within EPA is very complicated both from a technical perspective and a business perspective. Boxtone is uniquely qualified to provide this service for the monitoring of Blackberry service. The Agency in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 has identified Boxtone as the only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. Vendors may submit questions to the Contracting Officer Ms. Sandra Caesar at caesar.sandra@epa.gov.caesar.sandra@epa.gov. The order will be issued under simplified acquisition procedures and simplified acquisition threshold.
